Painting Print - Containing the anxiety

Anxiety has ruled my life, and learning how to take control is a major part of my recovery. Anxiety is pain, to the core, and should not be held onto. This is a reminder to me that I need to move away, or change a situation, change my thoughts, and stop gripping onto the spikes of pain in my stomach because it’s a downwards spiral.

 

Painted in acrylics on a thin piece of wood. No pre-planning - I let my emotions lead my hands / brush to the colours and movements that created this piece.
